Well i did the drive sweeper deal and installed the new drivers, still had the issue. I did drive sweeper again and went back to 196.21, everything works like it should now. I just dont like knowing that im stuck with old drivers and cant upgrade... oh well, if it works it works.

My specs are in my sig. Whenever i try to update the driver it installs fine, im able to switch to SLI and the cards overclock fine when i need them to (which doesnt happen a lot). Everything seems ok until i try to play a game (just cause 2, mass effect 2, etc). When i get into the game it lags...

Agreed. Ultimate is pointless for normal home use, although that's what i have, lol... cant argue with the OEM copy for $190 off of newegg vs $310 retail. They might be cheaper now, but that's what they were when i ordered it. Heres a version comparision chart just in case...

UPDATE: I got it to work a few days ago, and now enjoy yet another usb drive with no real purpose for it in mind, but hey, its more space. Turns out the wire inside connecting to the circuit board was upside down. Not sure if that was my fault cause i never unplugged that side before. Anyway...

It's just an old 30gb zune harddrive, i dont care about losing anything on it. Thanks for the heads up though.

Ok, so i just find a DOS boot utility, put it on a floppy and boot from that? Im assuming once i remove the other drives it will be considered the C drive? Thanks for the help.

I've tried going into Disk Management. It shows in the list, but it's greyed out. There's no option to remove the partitions or format it, the only thing i can seem to do with it is "initialize disk". When i try that a window comes up asking if i want to either stick with the GPT partition...

I took the 30GB harddrive out of my old zune planning on using it as a usb drive. I bought the appropriate enclosure, put it together, plugged it in and planned to format it and be done... little did i know it uses GPT partitioning. It doesnt necessarilly have to be formatted to NTFS, i believe...

Genius. No i havent tried that, but i did make sure my computer was plugged in at the time.
