Are you going into your system bios settings and selecting the first boot device to be CD? If it will not boot automatically, then your best bet is to go into the system bios on boot up and change your first boot device to be CDROM. Then reboot and it should boot from the cd automatically.

First you should make sure that system restore is not disabled. Goto->START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEM TOOLS>SYSTEM RESTORE. Click on System Restore Settings on the bottom left of the window. Make sure the TURN OFF SYSTEM RESTORE box is unchecked.
