What are your opinions on HP's performance laptops?

Last summer I built myself (my first) desktop i7 gaming/multi purpose machine and I love it! But now I am going to be going to Europe for a year and I think that it is going to be a big hassle to try and get my desktop there as it is a full tower and dual 24" screens I really want to take it but...

Anyone ever have this problem?

I have a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 and I am trying to use it to chat with my girlfriend in Europe and I am having some problems. When I first started using the cam it worked fine on the computer, but I had various problems getting it to work with AIM, but I could get it to work with Skype...

At first no, but I went and borrowed one, and that didnt work either, and the keyboard works in the BIOS (well all the keyboards do). I did turn on the legacy options in the BIOS for USB but that didnt work either.

When I built my computer I had gotten all the parts except my Vista OS so I wanted to use it (of course) so I installed Windows 7 and liked it.....but now I am not a huge fan as I am having problems with it where programs dont like to start, the sidebar crashes, and a few compatibility issues...

Yes seriously who are they, so I can thank them for their great site and shipping etc. And while we are at it is there a Amazon rep so I tell them that their shipping SUCKS for computer cases.....

I just built a new computer with Windows 7 RC 7100 and I am having problems trying to video chat. I downloaded the latest AIM 6.9 and have a Logitec QuickCam Pro 9000. I can IM no problem but when I try to send a video invitation my buddy only see the message that "your buddy failed to accept"...

I would like to be able to watch TV on my computer and be able to use the Windows Media Player to DVR programs. I dont really need something that supports HD content as I just have basic cable, but I would like something that is just as good as a tv. I am looking for something in the $75 range...

I just downloaded PC Wizard 2009 and it is saying that my core temps are at 40-41 degrees, where as SpeedFan 4.38 is saying 25-26 degrees. Any suggestions? Do you recommend any other monitoring programs? Thanks! And I am running this in Windows 7.
