    Can't really buy anything right now, this is actually for someone I'm supporting haha. I'm just out of ideas. I haven't tried it with the laptop undocked from the docking station and it powered on. But I tried it in an identical computer (Besides OS) and it worked fine.

    That is odd. All the computers I've reimaged with win8 and used the key from the BIOS worked just fine.

    The logs are probably still there. The ADWcleaner logs should be at C: -> ADWcleaner. For Malwarebytes, if you're still on 1.75, the old version, open it up and click the log tab. It should be there. For 2.00, click the "History" tab, and then "Application Logs."
