Got it up and running, working better than I would've expected. Loving the blue LED fan on the front as well.

I don't plan on Crossfiring because I don't see the need for it. If I don't plan to, should I get a cheaper Motherboard? What about this GPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161348 Also, this CD/DVD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204 Do...

    Gaming PC ~

I'm building this computer for myself, mainly for gaming(MMO's specifically). I've been out of the loop for a bit, so what I have picked out might not be the best. I'm looking to be able to play my games on a fairly high, if not max, graphics setting while getting at least 50fps. ~Budget...

The PSU is decent, yes. It's nothing spectacular, but I haven't had any problems with it and it still works great! Shipping will vary depending on where I'm shipping to and how quickly you want it. Shouldn't be much though. Still interested?

    new to building a desktop

The motherboard you listed is an AMD motherboard, therefore it will not work with your i7 processor. You'll have to find another MB.

Help $800 Budget For Gaming PC (First Timer)

Six-cores isn't needed for gaming as you will most likely not even use 2 of them. That i5 is okay, but the Sandy Bridge line is more updated, check this one out: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115073&cm_re=i5_sandy_bridge-_-19-115-073-_-Product Also if you plan...

What to look for. For gaming?

Between those two: http://www.ibuypower.com/Store/AMD_Phenom_II_AM3_DDR3_Configurator This one will work well with those games, although the video card is a little out-dated and the power supply(as in all pre-builts) is questionable.

    Gaming computer build help

For gaming, 6 cores isn't needed as a processor, I'd go with: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727&cm_re=phenom_x_4-_-19-103-727-_-Product Same price as the 955 as of right now, it's a good deal, great for gaming. I can't find your motherboard, do you have a link to it?

What to look for. For gaming?

That computer, while it has six cores, your games will not be using them all. Therefore the slow processing speed (2.7Ghz) will slow your gaming down. I'd suggest looking at another computer.

What to look for. For gaming?

Look for a good Processor such as Intel i5, i7. Or AMD Phenom x 4 9xx series, Phenom x 6 series. (There are some others, just pointing out popular ones) 4GB of RAM will be great. Good graphics card. Good ratings on the computer your buying. Good Power supply(although I doubt you'll be able to...
