dependin on what you use your computer for, get more RAM! or you can invest in the future with an SSD.
Lastly you can just wait for Bulldozer, spend some extra cash, get extra Bang! It all depends on how much money or bang you got/want! :D
Super computers would love that. since they tend to use water cooling. But with this they can apply the liquid directly, which allows for much cooler temperatures.
This is not useful for the every day user, it would make repairs painful. Also you would need a better fan to really stir up...
Yes you can make money doing this. But chances of that happening are unlikely.
Most major online retailers buy in bulk directly from the manufacturer. This gives them low prices, and probably beat out anything you can offer.
Plus they have customer service centers, exchanges, etc. in case...
The only problem with waiting is that it will not be fully capable and then nobody wants to buy them. It costs money to keep up and it will cost you money to not keep up. That's computers for you!
A month or 2 ago we finally got our internet fixed (after years of problems) and We are getting double the internet speed now since we upgraded a few months ago.
I get 2.5Mb/s thats right! stay away from ATT!
as DMGrier said, its not bad for 08. DDR2 was standard only the high end computers had DDR3. A basic LCD not LED display. Core2Duo at 2.0 Ghz also a standard at the time. This was the good computer of the time, with its standard features.
It is probably starting to show its age, but for any...

The old macbook had a Core2Duo running 2.0Ghz i think if not 2.4Ghz at most!
it had at most a Nvidia 320M GPU with 2 GB of RAM.
This Macbook air has a second gen i5/i7, thats 2 generations higher processor.
It also has the discrete Intel...
i don't know anything about your computer or chip size so I can't tell you exactly but if your talking about like core2duo to like core2quad, yeah that wont be happening.
Plus if you had that much power on a laptop it would eat your battery power so fast and produce so much heat. The first...
I completely agree with this. second gen i3 has the full advantage, I love the new chip set design.
as well as the geforce vs. the radeon.
short and to the point :good:
That's called a Graphics Card. GPU's are inside of the graphics card. The reason I say this is because generally laptops now have GPU's (so they don't take up room or power by graphics cards) and generally GPU's can not be replaced since they are embedded into the motherboard.
The new Second...
RAM just allows you to virtually hold more things open at once, before you upgraded RAM did you ever open too many programs and then the computer slowed down, thats because your out of RAM. Typically they explain RAM as a table where you put your current work on. All you did was instal a...
