For the last few days I've been having a peculiar problem with my PC. Randomly, usually after about 15 minutes of starting my PC, it will act like one of the keys is stuck down. Now this is usually my '.' key, but sometimes the '-' key, too.
Before anyone tells me it's my keyboard, it's not because I've tried many different keyboards and I get the same result. And anyway, I don't even have to press any keys for it to start.
For example, I will be working on a video edit in PowerDirector, the system will hang for an instant and then any text box I type in (be it IM windows, e-mails, Word docs, games) it will spam ......... and so on. It's really bugging me and I've tried everything I can think of, running virus scans updating drivers but so far no luck.
Anyway, my regular keyboard is a logitech G11 if that helps. If I unplug it, the spamming continues.
