looking for a c+/c++ coder

Bump? am i allowed to bump none fs/wtb threads?
im think of just a simple game like an off road one where you dont really have a point just drive around on an off road map?

I hate to throw a wrench into your plans, but "making a simple 3D game" is not as simple as you're probably thinking...especially in un-managed C++ and without providing some kind of incentive.

Just to put this into perspective, I've been working alone on a 3D DX11 based game engine for a good 3 years now, in the higher level C# language, and am still no where near done. And if someone asked me to write a C++ program, no matter how big or small, I would charge roughly 120$ an hour.

So, I really like your enthusiasm and finding someone to make games with can be a fun process, but you'll need to /really/ do more than asking on a forum.

For example, perhaps show a couple of your 3D models? Learn a tiny smidgen of C++ and say "I've got this done already, just need a bit of help with this this and this"? Show off what you can do, and /that/ can really get people interested.

Good Luck.

alright, thanks for the advise, yeah i was thinking about start modeling and stuff, i have tried learn code but its not sticking.

I've done some Open GL in the past, it's pretty unpleasant :P

Any reason you want to make this for Zunes? They didn't exactly take off (though IMO they are a better device than an iPod)

because i think it would help draw more people to the zune or help get people to make more games/apps, plus ipods suck lol

The zune is Deeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. I mean I do have one, and its a million times better than the ipod. And I love the software. But it never took off for the masses so Microsoft pulled the plug and is focusing on its windows phones.

Once again, good luck in the search though. If you wanted to make an Android app, 2D or something (ie, ACTUALLY simple and /could/ potentially make some money)...I might be more inclined. But otherwise. Meh.
