Ok guys iv got a fiver to spend (for you americans out there i mean £5) :D

Please dont tell me to save. Its basically just there, nothing to put it towards and nothing to do with it in general. Iv been searching for games to buy but i cant find one. Is there any underrated exceptional games you can think of?


By the way i have like 100 games so many recommendations i may already have :P But throw me some ideas anyway as its burning a hole in my pocket :P

EDIT: Also is there anywhere i can buy a cd key for counterstrike cheaper than on steam?

I know its cheap already but like i said, £5 limit lol. Dont mind if its cs source or just CS. Former would be better latter would be ok.

Thats not much money. But if you want a game that will drive you mad and make you want to play it all the time, its all you will be able to think about, it will drive you freakin nuts. I love this game.

But then I found my favorite version..... this one actually does a decent job of simulating economics, taxing, and zoning. Its even tougher than the 2k version. I bought it again recently because my old disks got too worn and scratched.

when is that? tomorrow (4th of july, independence day for the US, we are almost definitely their biggest consumer base so would make sense)
 
Warcraft 3. As a game itself it's not very cheap, but it's massive. You can play online hundreds of games built as maps in warcraft 3. Things like RACING GAMES, or shooters... It's incredible ..
 
Id either hold out till the steam sales, i heard they were supposed to start today but haven't :S Or buy some fags and a pint and chill :)

Also should have mentioned, i only have 15gb internet a month so would prefer games to stick below 1gb ideally and 2gb indefinately.


EDIT: also all the games you mentioned are more expensive than a fiver.

Most of their games are about 3 quid and are awesome! I recommend master of orion 2 which is a TBS and master of magic also TBS, both DOS games though so if you don't like pixels i wouldn't advise them :P
 
I signed up to that the other day but nothing has caught my eye tbh. I think theyre a bit too old for my liking :P I dont mind retro within reason :P

Speaking of old games....Theyre re-releasing ff7 for pc :D:D:D:D

And they should redo FF8, only less buggy
 
Ive never actually played any of the later final fantasy's, only the old ones and crysis core for psp which was a bit retarded.

Also, i have a lot of games that dont use steam, That said they are generally older.


You have me on steam anyway, shouldnt you be able to check them from your steam? or do you still need to search my name :P
 
Are you a fan of Call of Duty? You might be able to pick up CoD 4 somewhere for relitavely cheap.
 
Command and Conquer Red Alert 3 is 5 bucks on steam right now on sale. I'm downloading it now. Reviews are good and looks fun. Not sure if it's under 5 quid though.
 
Dont really think theres much around for £5 at the moment..Theres Hitman-Codename 47 on steam for £5.99

I might buy it actually soon,Not played any of the Hitmans and the new one that's coming out Hitman absolution looks like its going to be awesome.

Mike have you tried Wolfenstein: Enemy territory?...its free.

Had so much fun playing that back in the day,Might give it another go the weekend.
Hope its servers still have people playing.
