Bad Company 2 > BF3?

Hey all... wanted to see what everyone thinks about BF3?

I play battlefield 3 a lot and get very frustrated with the game. The vehicle upgrades upset me the most. People have perks that make the planes basically impossible to bring down. A lot of players cheat too. I saw someone go 103-2 in a 15 minute conquest game.

I also feel that rush is not as fun as it was in BC2.. No one even tries to arm. Anyone else frustrated with the game?

My main issue with the game is that no one pays attention. Ive been attacked I don't know how many times by guys on my team. That and Its nearly impossible to get any good at the game because there is always one dude camping that kills you before you can see the contact to take him out.

Really need to try MW3 to see whats going on there, but really I think I will stick with battlefield and try to get better, but I will probably give up on multiplayer again and just play the short single player that made not that much sense.

It seems to be a rampant global issue too. I though it was an american ignorance thing at first, but even on the german servers they do it. And it just turns me against everyone. I mean, if your not going to work with your team, then go play call of duty where that shiz is allowed.

I thought about getting MW3 for a good single player campaign and awesome co op missions but its still expensive. The single player is fun

I don't remember why I bought it. It was back when I first got my desktop. Its a fine campaign, better than the BF campaign. Though if MW3 is anything like MW2, and it is, BF owns at multiplayer. MW2 is what killed me on multiplayer to start with.
The survival mode is fun. Its like zombies, cept they shoot back. Pretty fun. I generally can get up in the 20s before I die with no help.

Yeah they need to do something about team work, my main issue is that in Asian servers very few players use English, all use chat in Chinese or other languages, But this is when I am playing without my clan. My clan is pretty active so team play isn't a problem for me when clan is online.

I have not had any issue with chat. I need a mic, but most of the chat is in english or german on the servers I use. But I guess that is because I don't use asia server.

It seems to be a good game. Minus the few arses that set at extreme distances at just use a .50 or the like to knock you down before you can see them. But I am starting to like the game. Playing engineer all the time.

I think BF3 would benefit from having in-game VOIP with:
1. An easy way of muting individual players.
2. A global "mute by default" setting for those that either don't want to have to mute players on a per server/match basis or plan to use external VOIP software.

i don't have all that fancy stuff yet. Im a PFC with 2 star. I think I unlocked the javalin though.

I only do it cause I like the M4. The Ak that the engineers have are good too.

1 gold bar 2 stars. Should be PFC 2 star. Ill screen shot it.

Well I just started doing MP a couple of days ago.

That all looks good, but yet again adding crap to the game. Thus more money. Its a good game, but I don't think I will do the add ons. It was too expensive to start with.

I do still think BC2 is better than BF3,Its seems like everyone just wants to be on their own in bf3 and do no teamwork...and in objective based rounds all they seem to do be doing is going for kills rather than the objective...Hardly anyone handing out Ammo/media packs either.

The new vid on Armored kill looks good though,Nice to see a Snow map.

Not so sure about the AC130...I can see that becoming a problem with constantly been taken out before you have even got half way across the map as they look HUGE...don't suppose it would be so bad if the respawn time is quite long on the AC130 but we will see.

I was quite upset seeing CQ maps, I only liked its assignments, but graphics in it looked better after I updated the drivers. Good to see AC130, the rocket launching trucks and fast tanks, also seriously I can't wait to see how beautiful the snow map looks and the game play too.

Don't really play BF3 any more but I prefer the older game more (BF2 and both bad company games). Maybe it's just BF3 graphics which blur everything together at some points. The other games just had a better feel to them.

I like BC2, it kinda brought back the meaning of shooters. It wasn't all kill streaks and emblems, blah blah, blah. I was actually a true modern day shooter. And I still love that games, probably more than I like BF3. BF3 kinda seems tougher.

I've always preferred BF:BC2 over BF3 because, as ROFLcopter said, everything gets blurred together in BF3 and I can never see any enemies.

AND I get the worst lag.... only it's SOUND lag. Shoot your gun, hear it fire a couple seconds later! I've got a four core CPU as the minimum requirements suggest... but even then, it happens. It's a deal-killer for me.
