unfortunately no benchmarks yet....
....

Looks sweet! Especially the quad video cards :D

But I have to say whoever translated it, really needs to do a better job. It's written like a first grader.

it was the google translator

whats with NVidia all over the place... isnt that kind of against AMD's whole merging with ATI...
are those 8800's?
this is so weird its like theyre all being friends just to get our money. lol
VERY impressive system though, i want benchmarks lol...

wonder what the case temps look like, even with all those fans lol

looks like it. wonder why. they'd need a very small stripe size to put them in RAID 0 and increase performance in many applications... even then 4 hard drives have a straight line as their benchmark so 10 would be useless...
they probably just wanted the biggest hard drive in the world... get 750gigs per drive... thats like 7.5terabytes... insane.

i cant wait to get another 19" LCD so i can actually have a nice setup where one is for photoshop and other is for windows media and everything else

There both, a true quad core would be one die with 4 cores, however intel "cheated", and just slapped on 2x 2-core dies.

just like the P-D's before C2D came out... I guess it's best just to get working models out before optimisation.

Looks impressive... but hey, thats what those kind of show's is for, no?
I mean,.. its great that you can have so much power in your pc.. but think of the heat production, the power consumption etc.. and besides that, its pretty useless =]
Game and program produce's wont bother really to optimize one of their produc's for such a pc ( at least, i highly doubt it) since almost noone will have such a pc for quite some time i gues.

And the waste of money award goes to:... :P :D (but like i said,. it does look impressive ^_^ )

Wow! That computer looked amazing! And to think in a few years we are going to think that computer is total crap!

my friend whos taking microelectronic engineering says 4x4 is a better way to go off the bat because you'll be running dual hypertransport and there won't be a bottleneck with any other parts on the motherboard with two cpu's rather than having one lane between the cpu and the rest of the motherboard.

he claims AMD is concentrating more on revamping the whole system and that 4x4 is more like having two computers in one computer case... kind of like having two dual core computers in a cluster only on a single motherboard and such..
oh and he claims the AMD will be ahead of intel very soon according to moore's law... since athlon 64 is actually considered an "old" architecture... and that intel is just reusing their old pentium 3 architecture only this time in desktops.

i mean you have to admit, for still using 90nm AMD is doing pretty well as far as power usage/performance... but i still think core 2 duo is the best buy for the moment. i can see what he means though, with the whole two system in one system thing...

i think what he meant was that AMD is making the entire system their processors run on better... like hypertransport, the cmos, the bios, that sort of thing... while intel tries and makes their processors better all the fsb in the world wont help if none of these other parts are revamped.

The CMOS and BIOS have gone relitively unchanged in the past 10+ years...

All you mentioned was AMD remaking the CPU and HTT, the CMOS and BIOS (if even remade), wouldnt make a difference performance wise.
