My PC specs are intel845grg mobo,2.00GhzP4,256MB RAM and a geforce fx5500-256MB card. When i play this game(POP T2T) even at low setting when i slow down the environment in the game my system reboots immediately. Why is it so?Is it coz my specs are not enough for this game?Is there any patches that can enhance my performance and prevent from such problems?

It's your RAM try to add at least another 256 mb. it's the minimum to have 256 but it will only run the game.
everything else is fine.

I already have another 256MB RAM but when i install it,it always ends up showing "blue screen of death".I think it is because of different RAM sticks. But within a week i am upgrading my pc to core2due.Which instantly solve the problem think so.

Yes upgrading will solve your problem.
I recommend you wait for the new computer to enjoy the game play.

Yes your ram is very low. As your upgrading your PC soon, wait until then to play this game.

As always, install game patches and keep your video and audio drivers up to date.

In my old computer (P4 2.4GHz, 256MB ram, FX5200), I used to play Prince of Persia: warriors within on 640x480 at lowest setting, and it run fine, so I don't your problem is from ram, because 256MB ram should run the game fine.

On my new computer (specs in my signature), I play it on 1024x768 on highest settings

Even in my current PC(P4 2.0Ghz,256MB RAM,FX5500) i played that game in 800x600 with medium setting and ran well. But this one gave problem. As i am fan of this series i can't wait to play.Well even after i installed another 256MB the problem didn't solved. Now can anyone figure out the real problem?

Slows down like what ?
I don't remember the display options very well but turn off vsync and any shader related options.

I told you that the problem is not from ram. Prince of Persia just need a powerful GPU. It doesn't need a powerful cpu or more ram

My gpu is worse than his and it runs fine here
I have a Radeon 9200 SE 128 mb that doesn't even support pixel shader 2.0

I don't really agree. 256 Is low to just run Windows XP and a good Anti-virus program. Maybe I'm spoiled by a fairly fast machine. But you load Windows XP and say Norton, you have a slow machine. Then to run games on top of that? your asking for issues.

Now we do not know what he has running in the background. But most people have an Anti-Virus and other programs sharing that memory.

I am running XP(pro) and i have not installed any antivirus.

Did you try to run it on 640x480 and everything on lowest setting ?
Well the game ran on medium setting so i didn't tried at lower setting. Now i have finished the game and uninstalled it,I think it would have ran much smoother in the lower setting.
