LAN games so it doesnt get boring

Did Team Fortress 2 ever come out? I remember seeing lots of videos for it but never checked if it came out.

I remember when I used to go to LAN parties we would play a micro RC racing game that was kind of like mario kart and worms multiplayer when we were waiting for everyone to set up their gear.

Of course back in my day we didn't have flat panels so everyone had to haul around a monitor, and we did it up hill both ways in the snow and it was negative 100 with the wind chill factor. You punk kids got it easy these days I tell ya!

Team Fortress 2 is coming out with HL2 - Episode Two
 
ya I googled it shortly afterwards. That game gets insanely fun. I like to play the spy and the engineer, and some times the warrior (or whomever had the rocket launcher).

I remember there were so many mods. There was like a soccer mod where each team had to shoot a giant soccer ball across the opponets goal line, and at the same time you could frag each other.

Also, if you can get everyone a copy of Quake 3, Jailbreak was a really awesome team mod. I loved playing that game as well.

Did you see TF2's new rendering engine? It looks kind of cartoonish.

I love TFC, even now I love it. That is a very fun game!

TF2 is going to be cartoonish, they released a few trailers of it. I dont know what its going to be like playing as a cartoon like character, but I cant wait to find out.
