CS:S camping spots?

No.
Only on certain servers.

I usually camp on texture maps, wherever is available. But I only crouch and move around a little to make sure I wont be ambushed.

Haha, I remember when I camped in CS once in Italy and took out the entire other team with a Desert Eagle... Hid behind a box and shot them in the back as they ran by, killed all five of them! Fortunately they came by one by one so I could kill them, reload, have the body dissappear and then shoot the next one that came by... :D
 
camping's not illegal, and it is a real tactic that's used in match(though not often)now sitting there the entire game in an area where nobody comes and continuing to sit there while the bomb has been planted, thats just noobish

if you want to find some good spots try checking a top view of the map and just look for dark or hidden areas where you'll have a good view of high traffic areas(i.e. bomb sites)
 
Heh.. I used to play a lot of CS, dropped off to none in the past 5 months...

Italy was my Fav level... Here are a couple tricks.

When CT:
You can retrieve or ATTRACT the hosties from the first floor by jumping and pressing E (or whatever your button is to say "come on") at the roof UNDER the exact spot they are standing on. This is particularly useful when the T's are camping the top. :)

(Don't play ct's it a t map)

When T:
The apartment is a good place to be devious. Hide in the corner (far back until you start hearing footsteps. In one fast running jump go over the rail and look into the apartment and shoot whoever is there... they won't be ready.

On the way to the entrance to the apartment you pass 2 garbage cans. Shoot them into the doorway of the apartment. It REALLY slows down the ts, and they shoot the cans, while you shoot them.

ALSO, the canse can be shot into a place where YOU can hide behind. Makse sure to cover shots at you from the left though.



For Both sides:
This map has many different routes which can be taken, when playing hide and shoot with someone, do differently than they think you will do. Make them think you are going right, and double back left... This is one of the few maps this is easily done.
 
Thanks guys but I wasn't looking for strategies, I meant trick jumps, like the CS_Assault get-on-top-of-building trick jump and stuff.
 
Campers suck, they ruin the game for everyone else thinking they are 1337. Im glad the maps are designed and updated regularly to stop hackers and campers.
 
Campers cant be stopped, unless the server slaps them.
Hackers, are always a step or two ahead of steam.
They figure a way to notice the hackers before they hack they ban them. The hackers get new disguising...


I was against a guy with an aim bot. I thought I was doing quite well.
 
Eh I deal with them.

I actually got alot of good shots at the aim bot dude.
I didnt know till the admin banned him from that server. lol.

lol no wonder the guy uses hacks anyways he must be horrific without the bot then but i do agree hacker ruin the game for everyone else:( like in battlefield 2142 there are a ton of them good thing i found a private server else I would have quit the whole game

How do I access private servers for 2142. Cause I want to get back in to 2142, cause I played for a couple weeks and forgot about it. So I want to train on private servers.

I do not hack, nor do I have future plans of doing so.


I just killed the guy with the aim bot...A lot...

u have to know some people in the game see I was playing the game and some dude came up to me and said I was pretty good and I was telling him bout how much I hate hackers and stuff and he said so do you want to join our sever and I said sure why not and he gave me a pw and stuff:D ever sence then its been hacker free
