Test Drive Unlimited, Thoughts?

What do you guys think of Test Drive Unlimited? I have heard it's cool, I like the idea of the game. Nobody in my area has it in stock, I checked all of the Gamestops and Wal-marts. I will order it from the EGG!


I am getting away from the BF's and CoH, I have grown tired of them and there are way too many glitchers and hackers. EA can have BF and next time they might learn not to make anything so subsceptible to glitches and hacks.

If you've played need for speed underground, need for speed underground 2, need for speed most wanted, any of the tokyo highway racer series, street race syndicate, or any of the midnight club games, pass.

those games are all the same, and all get boring looooong before the game is over.

a free-roaming gamestyle seems cool at first, but it gets too repetitive. At least a game with different tracks has the ability to have different environments, etc.
 
I just ordered it, :D I rushed it here that way I could show-off my PC to some of my friends this weekend. I think I payed $3 for rush processing and $19 for shipping. I just declared myself as an idiot, it looks cool though.

I loved the beta and seriously plan to get it... I broke down and purchased God of War for my PS2, hehe... I should of saved my gift card for Test Drive, eh? :P

GOW is one of the best games i've ever played!!!!

I can count the games i've enjoyed as much as god of war 2 on one hand.

resident evil 2, the first metal gear solid, jak 3, super mario 3, mario 64

it's that good
 
Haha, never said GOW was a bad game, I really like it... I just sometimes wonder if I should of gotten Test Drive with that gift card :P
