Halo 2 New Maps

They came out today.
After awhile, I got them to install and play.

There really cool. Theres 2 of them.

You have to pay $4.00 for both of them though.
 
I'd do it in a heartbeat, but only if I can get Halo 2 to work :(

Maybe the next update will make it work :-/

What's not working? Xbox Live or playing the games online?

And you have to PAY for the maps??? Wow...
 
These maps were made by other people, not bungie.


Thats why theres no super bounces...


And bungie probably didnt have a say in them being free for the release.

Ok, fine, I assumed the thing about them being made by Bungie, being made by an outside source would just be even more reason to be charged for them.

However, Bungie didn't really 'put' super bounces into a map, they are a glitch. I bet it can be done in the new maps as well.

Well...
I think bungie put super bounces and 'getting out of the map' glitches. In the game on purpose.

Because there are a lot of easter eggs in the maps.

Like in one, out of the map, giant red letters saying 'Nothing Is Out Here'


And super bounces, if you look at the floor of the level.
Push Start, Friend List, B. If you see triangles, thats where a supoer bounce is. Then you find a place to crouch.
 
you have to have a credit card number on your hard drive to download the new maps.

g4m3rof1337 is right about the bounces. if you look at where the bounces are, and the area around them, you will notice that the maps facilitate the bounce. and usually, there are cracks, spots and what-not to show you were to jump and/or land to get the bounce. if you just look at the game, you can tell the bounce isnt an accident...just like the blood code on mortal kombat back in the day...its just a 'secret'.

a glitch is an accident... like when you get blown up by a few grenades at once, and it blows you completely off the map.
 
The reason I say that they are glitches is because numerous times I have super bounced on accident, and not on a spot normally used for super bounces. I used to play the game quite a bit, and every now and then I would get launched after jumping off of something for no apparent reason. I believe they are located on cracks because the glitch has something to do with the texture of the surface landed on, and cracks facilitate that.
 
I get that to.

Like when I was learning how to snipe, I jumped, in scope, bounced up.

Then, a different level, jumping while shooting, jumped.

Both were not planned.

But both maps were locations of a super bounce, made by bungie.
 
Well g4m3rof1337, Im having a horrible time with the new maps, always getting the error message :'(. Did you ever find a solution?
 
Yes.
After an hour or so.
I had to go and renew my credit card information.
And go to the xbox 360 dashboard, go to the system tab, go to memory...And type in...X,X,LB,RB,X,X. The LB and RB are the top bumpers. After that is put in, a message should appear. If it doesn't go farther in on the memory tab.


Then restart, and it should work. If not, let me know.
