Test Drive Unlimited ... Any Good?

I have just ordered test drive unlimited for PC from play.com, i already have the PS2 version, i understand that it has more features in the PC version, does anybody know if it is a good game for PC?
P.S I guess i should have asked this before i ordered it!

I like it, the graphics are realy good if you have a graphics card that can play it maxed..

You should invest in a new one, i might run it a ultra LOW settings but i would realy try and get a new one. Something on the cheaper end of the scale like a 7600-7900GS would be good

Joystick?

Could i use a joystick on TDU like a steering wheel? By programming accelerate to be push forward and steering left to right e.t.c

Yes you are right it has some extra feature that you can't see on ps2 .
But don't forget that you should have a super computer to run it smoothly!!

good luck getting this game to work on ur computer u need atleast 2.5 ghz,2gb ram and like a ati x800

You make it sound as if they're high specs...

With my video card i can max that game out and max AA without a bit of lag. Graphics are nice in that game.

TBH i wouldn't need to put that if you had bothered to check the dates in the first place
so really your info was unneeded coz he must have got it working other wise he would have asked about it in the month he has had it

The X8** series are great cards, I have the X850 Pro, simple AMAZING!

Good luck running TDU on that... And I get no lag on my PC.... I didn't on my old P4 3.2Ghz, X1300PRO and 1Gb RAM. May wanna check your background apps.
