So who has beaton the best game ever? (spoiler!)

By best game ever I mean Halo3! I just got finished with the single player (on legendary of course), and am left fully satisfied. Depending on if you wanted MC to die or live, either party is happy. The race to the end was also a perfect touch, I like how about 60% of the game was based on the original perfect (not as perfect as Halo3) game.

So no "halo3 sucks, stop spamming", if you want to start that crap, just leave. "the ending was not my favorit because I wanted to see MC's face" is acceptable :D.

And because I dont want to flood (badum-ksh) the message board with threads. I also love forge, and the multiplay. I will be playing for years and years to come. Anyone one else like it?

The plot twists man! I love how bungie gets you thinking one thing in the first game, then flips it in the second, and then flips is about twice in the third! And then how you think its the end, the Halo's are about to launch, and then that turns out to be only the like half way mark.

As for halo2, I never actually played the single player, I think its the worst of the three games, perhaps thats why I dont see why its too much like it. Meh

The game wasn't that good because it feels like Halo 2, Episode 2, even though the campaign was more based on the Halo 1 story.... graphics were good though.

I just beat the campaign today and I was left with a huge feeling of dissatisfaction. I expected more.

How did the Flood fit in to the game? What about cortana and that huge flood-conscience like creature? How about the arbiter and the split-off Elite race? Get with the real spoilers XD. I not able to play as no 360, and to my disappointment, That doesn't likely to change. :( But I love the Halo mythos, and really want to know some details!

about the end.. does the Masterchief also die when you complete it on legendairy? ( or well, I completed it late last night, so might have missed a few details in the final movies, but still. I dont want the MC to be dead :P

Did you watch past the credits? MC doesnt die, he simply goes back into stasis.
 
Meh, i rented H3, and wasnt too impressed...for the same reason(s) I couldn't stand the first two.

They're just too weird for me....however I did love the gameplay (feel) and the setup and everything. I may give it another try (speaking of that...I think I'm going to go play it now haha)
 
Yeah, if you listen to the people talking in the final video the say: "He isn't really dead, is he?" and the other person says: "I wouldn't be surprised if he came back someday" or something like that. Yes, his number is etched in the tombstone, but the video with him and the Arbiter in the Pelican doesn't show him getting a scratch on him much less dying... I can't believe that MS will let the only series that has a chance of actually getting the XBox venture into the black end.
 
Grats on beating Ocarina of Time... took you a little longer than the rest of us, but it's nice to know you beat the best game ever...

I think you got halo3 mistaken for the second greatest game. Lemmy help you out here, halo2 is the greatest (note:no second) game. :D

I just beat it again on legendary and have been getting a bunch of skulls, I have all the sliver (including IWHBYD) and like half the gold. Still a kick ass game!

HAHAHAHA

Halo 3 might have sold to many copies from its name alone but hands down the reviews all over the net say its FAR FAR from the best game ever.
