BF2 On Max

I maxed BF2 out on a better resolution and everything high and AA off.
It made me laggy during gaming.

I'd move my mouse around fast, and it would be fine, then freeze a little, then be fine.


And lag up a little bit.


I plan to reinstall 2142 later, and want to max that as well.


What do I do?

You need more ram 1gb wont be enough for that. 1.5-2 gigs should be just fine.

oc cpu to like 2ghz atleast maybe? otherwise gpu is fine

Can I easily hit 2GHz if not more on stock?

I have an intake fan next to the CPU.


And, I'll add more ram.

There must be something wrong, I run BF2 max no problem and my system isn't nearly as good as yours

Are you using Vista?

I have battlefield 2142 with xp it ran fine on max settings when I switched to vista I had to run it on medium settings otherwise it would lag and freeze up sometimes.

So, your saying, my rig should run BF2 max no problems.

I ran BF2 maxed out (everything and at 1280 x 1024) on a 6800GT with a 3000+ at 2.7GHz, so your pc should definately be able to handle it maxed out.
