what settings do you thing I can run crysis at?

CPU: Pentium 4 HyperThreading 3.4GHZ

GPU: 8600GTS

RAM: 2GB 533MHZ

post your systems and maybe I or some other forum member can help! :D

That single core will set you back abit.. but I'm going to say you could play the beta on the higher end of the spectrum. Medium shadows, medium/high shader level, medium/no post processing (real FPS eater this setting is, along with the shader level) and high for the rest. Don't ask me about the retail because i couldn't hazard guess.

You can easily run Crysis, but no where near very high settings. With that processor and video card, you would be lucky to play it on medium in DX10 mode.

it is strange how people with good pcs worry about whether there pc wll run new games like crysis and cod4 on high settings but i must admit im one of them i also wonder ,
intel q6600
4gb ballistic ram
3x 400gb sata11 hdds
bfg 8800gts 0c2 640mb memory.
and i am not being funny i really do wonder.

The reason my cpu sucks so bad is because my motherboard only supports P4 so I cant buy a new dual core and no im not gunna buy a new motherboard lol:o

I can only tell you based on beta, but your system is near identical to mine, so i'll give you a breakdown.

You'd be able to play the beta @1680x1050 on med-high settings. Probably closer to the high end due to the higher memory in your card. On those settings alone it looks awesome, anymore than that and i really wonder how you'd be able to focus on the gameplay with all those nice effects. (really, it's hard enough as it is)

Full game? dunno, i'd say atleast med-high @ 1680x1050 dx10, which imho, is more than enough.

for the 8600gt, dunno really, i'd agree with the other guy, lucky to hit med with it, also depending on res of course.
