I would say, replace the motherboard, unless you want to stick with AGP. It says "intel" processor @ 3.0 GHz, so that probably a pentium 4.

Great HDD, RAM, and has linux. Make an offer on it, I wouldn't mind paying 180$ for it =D

Very vague, Intel 3.0 GHz doesn't tell you much, but I'm assuming its a P4. Cheap price, wouldn't recommended any upgrading on something like that. Whats it going to be used for?

Well the speed of the CPU doesn't have everything to do with overall system performance, and your laptop is probably 1.8GHz dual core. But anyway I'm confused are you selling or buying this PC, whats going on lol, you just said comment on it. Be more specific.

found it on craigslist. I am looking for something to jsut mess around on and store pics nad music. Not a high performance media machine, but something to listen to music. Also, a little word processing etc. I have experience w/ ubuntu

It's all right I guess. But 2 things I don't really care for much- tehy don't describe what intel processor it is and the comp comes with Ubuntu Linux, not Windows, which is why it's so cheap. I know of a couple good computers from $350-400 if your interested.

I agree with guys above, things could be better, i say don't get it..... for $100 no printer, it would be alright....

i can get vista for really cheap. Would this computer run it fairly smoothly if I could get it for like 100 or so.
