Gateway is ridiculous

So I have a client who has a Gateway MT 6704 and I cannot get Windows XP to see the SATA drive at all
I tried making an F6 floppy disk, but any drivers to work on it.

I tried

D20035-001-001.exe - Windows XP and Vista (32-bit or 64-bit) SATA/Mass Storage Controller version: Intel 6.2.0.2002
and copied the drivers from the F6 x86 Disk folder, but none of them work!!!
It has a Intel 945GM chipset if that helps

Any Ideas?

wow I haven't been on CF for a while, but its become a bit more "spammy" since I've left.
anyway, just for reference to anyone else having this problem, I just slipstreamed a mass storage sata driver pack into a windows xp sp3 disk and that worked fine

Are you able to use PATA Emulation mode, if so, enable that :) In the HDD options, it should be like RAID or IDE, select IDE :)

Interesting, well, if you cant get the boot disk working, nor the emulation, looks like your stuck with Vista :)
