CM HAF 932 Case fan question

Alright, This side fan is a 230mm with the option to replace that with 4 120mm fans. Would that improve air flow? I was planning on getting a 60+ CFM. I looked at it. The top left would be blowing right on the graphics card. And the upper right would be blowing on the south bridge (i think). Also I was thinking of mounting a fan on the bottom by the hard drives and the PSU. Any insight on this? I want to stick with the red LED but I don't want to go overboard with the lights lol.

It all depends, with my experience with this case, it seems kinda pointless to swap the fans. unless you go all out and swap them all except the front fan.

Well. I do kind of want to swap out the side fan for 4 120mm fans. 140 in the rear, keep the 230mm in the front and possibly swap the top 230mm fan for 2 120mm fans. Hmm.

I'd say go for it. I kinda read that you were only adding 3 fans to the side.

get the 4 on the side and two screamers up top and you should be good to go.

4 fans should cool better but will also be louder. The large fans purpose is to move a good bit of air while keeping RPM's low to have low sound level. If you do a search on Youtube "Coolermaster HAf 932" There is one guy's video that comes up that replaced the large 230 mm side fan with 4 red high output fans and it is definiely louder on the video.I dont think it is really needed due to the Haf 932 being one of the coolest running stock cases on one of the tests I have seen.

edit* Here is a link to a test with other various cases

You know I personally don't really care of the sound. As for me I come from load computers and modded xbox 360s. Sound isn't to big f a factor with me. Besides, I'll turn up the speakers. As long as they cool thats all I really care abut.

I'm hopefully going to get this case too.

Yeah the vids on youtube show that the fans are pretty much un-noticeable :)

Ummm for me i'm going to have like 6 120mm zalman red led fans to replace the side 230mm fan and the top 230mm fan :D

Also you'll have 2 good spare 230mm fans for any future comps :)

lol. I think that 6 might be to much red lol. Look sweet dont get me wrong.

Alright heres what I came up with. I'm going to replace the side 230 with 4 120 Scythe Fans http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185060

Than on top I'm going to drop in 2 120 Rosewill red LED fans http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835200050

Than drop a nother red LED fan on the bottom of the case.
Than the 140 rear fan. SO if you past math (I didn't) you get 8 fans all together.

Front-IN
Side-IN
Top-OUT
Rear-OUT (of course):D
And bottom fan faceing up blowing IN.

Sounds good?

Hey what about the top the case? it says it can fit 3 120mm x 25mm fans but i only see enough mounting holes for 2  The only way i'd think of this working is to remove the tray...

I know the specs say 3. but only enough 2 will fit. im sure its a typo. maybe something for liquid cooling? i dont know.
