help with buying a video card for dual monitors

I am looking to buy a video vard for my pc. I am not a gamer but i want to run dual monitors for my system. I found a card for a good deal that has 1 dvi and 1 avg output(HIS Radeon 7000 Video Card - 64MB). Could i connect to seperate monitors to this card that would display an extra large single desktop? or would they both show the same thing? thanks alot

I'm doing the same thing too. I'd get something better than 64mb if you're thinking of doing any gaming! (trust me i'm on 64mb shared graphics now....yeah...kinda blows) aaaaanyway you can set it up so it displays 2 different images and when the mouse hits the edge of t he screen and you keep moving the mouse in that direction it will turn up on the other monitor

You can clone(both show the same) Or extend your desktop and make it large
