Internet Explorer works perfectly fine except for one thing. When I click a link that opens to a new window, the window appears and all of the toolbars etc. appear on the window, but the window itself remains a blank white screen. I can click on stop and then click go and it will go to the site no problem, so in this sense, it is bypassable. It is a big problem though when anything that is java-script is opened because it will not go to these sites regardless. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

Thanks!

run a spyware program.. if u can reset all your IE settings to defualt and reload/refresh IE and see if that helps...[if u really wanted to..(im not sure if there is any other program) but get one of those registry cleaners where they also provide that IE cleaning support that will also reset everything]..

for ur java.. make sure u have java installed and it is enabled

If you want to get rid of all IE problems then go with Mozilla Firefox. It's an awesome program. Much better that IE.

Blank IE7 screen with Vista

Hello,
So I am not the only one who has noticed this and find it annoying. Having to stop what I'm doing to go to the task manager and end the blank screen process just to be able to continue is really annoying. It only happens with Vista not XP as I have systems that use both. I have a laptop and a desktop with Vista Home Premium and it happens on both of them. One suggestion I have tried was to enable/disable the pop-up blocker in internet tools. That has not seemed to help. I have run spyware/virus software. No affect. It seems to be a Vista glitch to me. Another weird thing is, it will happen even if I am not running IE7. RANDOM BLANK WHITE SCREEN Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks

With all due respect I am not interested in opinions on what browser is preferred. I would like to know if someone has found a solution to this particular quirk. If you dont't know then why reply? Yes Firefox works well but there are features in IE that I prefer and this blank screen is the only problem I have ever had with it. :D
