How to find ip address of hack?

I had someone log into a email of mine and forward some useless emails
to all the people in my address book and I got replies from some wondering what the?? How can I get the ip of the person who did this?

If u r using gmail, at the bottom of the page,there is one option " Last account activity" if ur account is opened in some other location, IP address of that location will be displayed.If u r not using gmail sorry i am helpless.

Well, if your useing yahoo you can go to Show All Headers I think and you can get the IP that way. I have a program called Slap where you enter there IP in than you can send them a message. I never tried it so i wouldnt know it it worked or not.

Just wondering, but what are you going to do once you have their IP address? No offence or anything, but getting the IP address is the easy part so if you need help getting it, it sounds like you would have no idea what to do once you have it.
