Hey guys, my first post here. A couple weeks ago my computer just died (thank god, It was six years old :p) So I've been looking at a new computer. I'm just starting my foray into this section of computers, so I don't have any experience with building/upgrading computers, and I'd like some help with this, like any bottlenecking of the computer, I'm building this for some higher games like Company of Heroes or some MMO's, this costs about...I think 1.7k? Well, here it is:

iBUYPOWER Vantage Gaming Tower Case w/420W Power Supply

1000 Watt -- Corsair CMPSU-1000HX Power Supply

Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q9550 (4x 2.83GHz/12MB L2 Cache/1333FSB)

Thermaltake V1 CPU Cooling Fan System Kit

Asus P5Q Pro Intel P45 Chipset w/7.1 Sound, Gb LAN, S-ATA, USB 2.0, IEEE-1394, Dual PCI-E MB

4 GB [2 GB X2] DDR2-800 PC6400 Memory Module (Corsair)

ATI Radeon HD 4850 1GB PCI-Express x16

1 TB Hard Drive [Serial-ATA-II, 3Gb, 7200 RPM, 16M Cache]

LG GGC-H20L Blu-Ray Reader & DVD +-RW/+-RW Burner Internal Combo Drive

3D Premium Surround Sound Onboard

Killer K1 - Online Gaming Accelerator - w/ 333Mhz Network Processing Unit + Lag & Latency Reduction Technology

4 Extra USB ports

64 Bit Vista Home Premium

Network 10/100/1000 LAN Surge Protector

This comes out to about 1750....Any suggestions, notice any bottlenecking, etc.?

if you live in the US then try newegg because they're usually cheaper and also you could consider building you own. that system is really nice but overpriced. with 1750$ you could build a good core i7 computer.

intel just came out with a new line of processors that are far better than the other chips. you should really think about building your own computer. there are tons of guides on how to do it and its really simple. i can help you pick out some parts off of newegg if you'd like

Thanks :) Yeah, I'd love to take you up on that offer. My Budgets around..well, around the price of that, only real requirement is a blu-ray drive (parents requirement), other than that, all I need is something that can last for about 3.5 years without spending too much on upgrades...I can get another replacement then...keep in mind almost anything sounds good after what I've been using :D

Well, I'd like to build it myself, especially for the pricing stuff...but I'm not exactly the most experienced...

It looks awesome! :D Thanks a ton!

Just 2 things though:
(Leaving out the graphics card thought, I've been convinced by my friends, so I'm cool with it)
And I know OEM is cheaper...but what if I have to reinstall?
