Look what I got!

My Uncle gave me this for free when I mentioned I needed an SLR camera for my upcoming photography class. I was thinking of using it for the first few weeks until I get the hang of it, and if I really like it I may end up buying an AE-1. Anyways, the camera is about 25 years old so it's pretty worn, I'm waiting until tomorrow so I can get some new film and see how it looks!

It just takes some time getting used to it, I haven't used a film camera in ages, and even the ones I did use were the simple point and shoot ones.

That's the exact same as my dads.

You'll like it, although it is a little heavy because it's well built!

Nice, i have an kinda older Minolta Maxxim(sp?)5000i 35mm slr with a standard lens, even the camera built around the time my minolta was built they are still built well, nice solid feel in your hands only the most expensive dslrs these days can reproduce. Come to think of it, i might just grab a roll of film tomorrow and take a few shots with it.
