graphic cards slot

Hi I had a Dell 5150 dimension with graphic cards 128MB of PC Express x 16 ,And I ordered a graphic cards of 512 Mb with PC Express @2 . Question is it the same slot as I have in my computer? (I just want to upgrade it to higher)

My daughter has a Dell XPS 400 which is the same thing. I know a lot about your computer. What is the model of the new graphics card?

512MB PC Express @2 doesn't really tell me much

i think PCI Express 2.0 is backwards compatible so yes, it would fit in your slot.
