HELP BLUE SCREEN!and more problems!

hey i have been recently getting the blue screen of death after which i reboot and am fine for about 15 min or sometimes days . I would like to know how to fix this problem or at least know the cause for it . If it helps sometimes after getting the blue screen i will boot up and after the bios load i get a screen that says RAM passed and ect then it says hard disk error: and some letters and numbers. I also have a problem where i cannot load MY computer when i click it i just get the flashlight for infinity , are these problems related please let me know thanks

How do you know he runs IDE? But good point check your cables are plugged in correctly and clean your computer if you do not already clean it because dust can be very dangerous for your components inside your case!

ok thanks guys thought i migh have to replace the whole hardrive but this makes more sense because whenever i move the computer a little its will get blue screen which would explain my bad IDE cable .
