1st build did not boot need your help

Hey guys plan on calling evga today but wanted to here what you guys thought. Everything is plugged in and comes on the fan and heatsink, grapics card, case fans ect. But nothing comes up on the display. In most cases what do you think is the issue?

I cant do that right now im leaving for school but ill be home around 1 what is it most likely though?

Make sure everything is seated, like your RAM, CPU is installed correctly, Motherboard power? GPU installed correctly, GPU power? lol Did you flip the power supply switch?

Yah but thanks for calling me an idiot called evga dead mobo rmaing it. Question though should a cpu actually snap in or should it just sit there with the edges all lined up

A cpu will always just fall into place, If you have to force it at ALL its installed wrong.

Make sure that the arrows on the cpu and the motherboard are lined up.

Now if your talking about when you closed the cpu lever and you heard it snap when you locked it, then thats ok.


Also, take a look at your monitor cable, make sure there are no bent pins.

^^^Alright thats what I was looking for now i just need to wait for evga to send me my new board and im all set
