Please help, mep or thermal, or anyone

I see mep and thermal are online so i had to put them in so they would see. I have earned their respect and would appreciate their input.

First of all i need to purchase this within the next 3 hours. I just need to know if this stuff works together. and if i should get a ssd or something for the OS. and if i should get multiple Hdds for raid cause i will be mostly gaming (i think). And what exactly are the advantages for games and raid.

Im ok on everything but my harddrive.

I need to know what i should do. i hear ppl say like ssd and 15000 rpm drives are better and to install the OS on them to make programs run faster.

Is this true? and what about raid?

SSD aren't worth the price yet, you could get a 10k RPM, it would make a bit of a difference and their prices are decent. I just go for maximum space but if you don't need a ton of space then a 10,000 RPM hdd would help with load times.

All the parts look great man. Great choice on the gfx card as well. Those can be oc'd and give performance almost par to 4870x2. Also for the case I would go with this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129058
And you dont need and SSD right now but down the road you could always buy one, especially when they improve the technology.

You could get two of the same drive and throw them in raid 0 it will boost performance a bit.
Looks like a good build.
Like the graphics card I have dual 4850's but what your getting is that on a single card.

Whats did they add or take away though with the nine hundred 2.

and doesn't the antec 900 cost around $100 and the Antech 900 2 cost $ 150 so it's around 50% more then the original

Both ram are good but for the price difference go with the corsair.

It's basically a minture 1200 now. Has the same fan controllers on the front, the inside is painted black. It has the newer style cutouts on the mother board tray.

They updated it to look more like the 1200 it looks like.
Better fan controllers, dust filter, and they might have taken the front panel fire wire and replaced it with an e-sata port.

lol, no I just like the 1200 alot but if you dont want such a large case I say go 900-2 because it's a mini one.

900's still good but it's up to you if you want the 900 2 or the original 900

I dont really want to put the OS and store stuff on one HDD but i guess it will do for now. I can always change it later.

Im just so anxious to get this. As you can see from my sig im not working with too much right now.
