How to uninstall games on XP

Go to your Control Panel, then go to Add/Remove Programs.

Select the programs you want to remove from the list, and click remove.

If they don't appear in that list, right click on the icons for the games (not shortcuts) and click un-install.

If that doesn't work just delete all the files.

how to uninstall vista games from xp

thanks but the games weren't in add/remove programs. i'm leery about simply deleting the .exe files (which are the desktop icons for launching the games) - I had always heard that when programs are installed, they create entries throughout the system such as in the registry etc. Or maybe these are different?
