Can't Login To Most Websites.

Hey everyone.

I've been having some MAJOR issues with my computer of late.
A few weeks ago one of my my valuable HDD's crashed and now
my internet has decided to deny me entry to most of my common
sites such as myspace, deviantart, hotmail etc. Almost Everything where i am
required to login. All other sites are fine.

I have tried clearing the cache, deleting cookies, tried other browsers (IE surprisingly works with myspace but no others) and a few other things.
The issues i had were with Zone Alarm, but i had never had any problems before, anyhow i changed to AVG, but to no avail.

Everytime i try to login i get this message

"Network Timeout

The server at xxx.com is taking too long to respond.

The requested site did not respond to a connection request and the browser has stopped waiting for a reply."

im not sure, but i think maybe your internet settings are messed up. so you having this problem only when going to secure sites, that means that you cant send secure information. check your settings or something.

I suppose the index file is messed up...
Probably caused by a virus.
I suggest you go to the Security section of this forum and follow all the steps you find there in a sticky.
