then type iBook in the search
then click on the 12th one

That's really bad dude, cd rom drive you can't even burn a CD, a 20gb hard drive, they don't even include the original power cord in the cost -.-

edit: "Diagnostics" $25, about half a gig of ram $100 sounds like a scam site to me. Anyways, $300 for that is HORRIBLE. Not worth anywhere that much. Google "M8862LL/A", you can get that computer for about $100 on other sites ...

800mhz CPU, 256Mb RAM, 20Gb HDD, CD-ROM, USED iBook, no warranty. -> $319.99
2.16Ghz Dual-core CPU, 2Gb RAM, 160Gb HDD, DVDRW, BRAND NEW, 1 year parts and labour warranty -> $449.99 (newegg)

I think that speaks for itself really.

(Save up $130 more and get a new computer).

soo i should ge t it?

Is it this: http://www.gainsaver.com/Catalog/De...22^iBooks&PageIndex=0&PageMax=40&cICode=43730

What do you want to do with it.

You wont:

Be able to upgrade the OS
Run latest games
Edit video outside of imovie 04 decently
Wont be able to upgrade above Panther if CD or Tiger if DVD
Wont be able to get iLife 09 or iWork 09 and later and be limited to 05 I believe.

You will:
Be able to browse the internet
Email
IM
Play old games even 3D
Watch Movies and Listen to Music
Work in an older version of iWork 05 or the Microsoft G3 Capable version
Use the iLife 05 suite Although I recommend you get 04 for smoother running.

You will be surprised however, the iBook G3s were built to last so with it prehaps:

Find a way to get Tiger on it if it supports DVD otherwise Panther will be fine
Get iLife 04 onto it or if you don't mind a bit of lag with 05
Get some office work Apps onto it like iWork 05
And enjoy

Also be sure to get airport on that thing
