They dont conflict, with AMD chip boards other than the 790GX chipset. Most of the onboard video boards are of lesser quality. With a few exceptions. Like the Asrock board, it still has a bunch of old liquid filled capacitors

Ok. So, I'll take your word on the ASRock being junk. What would you say is the main difference between the ASUS I was looking at and the ASUS and GIGABYTE you recommended? It's starting to sound like they are all pretty comparable. Again, I'm not sure if my untrained eyes aren't seeing something important.

Well the Asus board you picked is a micro ATX board, its not a bad board, just a Micro. The other two I picked are full size ATX boards. More slots, more room, less heat.

Bios updates are for bug fixes and to recognize new processors.

I see. That makes sense. Ok, cool man. I really appreciate all of your time and advice! This is all starting to make more sense. Like you said, don't go by Newegg's specs. I was trusting that what I was reading was accurate. Thanks again!!

If you want to spend alittle more on a board, all solid caps, 10 phase power setup, if you go with ATI cards later you can crossfire, good cooling, better all around board and a good price. With the 7750 you can only use DDR2 boards.

Was going to get it for myself, but decided to get a DDR3 board instead, might order this one.

Really pretty close to the same board. One is just DDR2 and one DDR3.

Would you still recommend this for someone that's not a gamer? I mainly watch TV episodes online, youtube, netflix movies, etc. no serious game play or anything.
