I am looking to buy a lappy that will last me 4 years through college. Is this too good to be true, a good deal, or just regular price.

Also, would this be worth paying the extra 100 dollars, or no noticable difference to pay more money for?

Well is their a link? It looks to be good to be true, it's an awesome deal for a lappy. Maybe for a computer believable but for a laptop, no way

Theirs a few differences such as one weighs more, one has better a screen resolution. Do u game?

well ya a little bit mostly xbox 360 but i do have halo 2, gears of war, and wanted to try crysis but i wasnt thinking of routinely playing it on this. I need it for college for four years and wanted to know if its a good deal or should i spend the extra 100 and get the other one. Right now im leaning towards the hp, but this is was i was originally going to get

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...smart&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1218041998718

which one is thebest for my money and will last me at least 4 years in college,

ps. i was also thinking about upgrading the ram in the hp for 1299.99 to 8gb would it be worth it or i wouldnt notice the diffrence

That is much more believable, do u care about the quality of ur games too much? If u get the 1200 $ one it would be able to take all ur games (even Crysis pretty well. The 830 $ one might not take ur games (especially crysis.) Oh by the way if u get crysis, make sure u get maximum edition because it is the same price and u get the two different expansions with the game.

i care a little bit but thats not the big factor. the 1299.99 one is def a steal right, would he touchsmart hp be good for 4 years or am i better off spending he extra dough for all the good benfits minus touchscreen. And if i do get the 1299.99 one should i upgrade the the ram to 8gb.

Unless ur photo shopping 4gb vs. 8gb is barely any difference. Hey bestbuy has never let me down so if u have the money get it. I'm in the laptop buying store right now and thats the best one i have seen, hence, bestbuy, lol.

Sure it will but like i said it may not play ur games that well, like i said especially not crisis. U Shouldn't upgrade the 4gb to the 8gb.

Oh srry, still it's no noticeable difference as long as ur not photo editing. But that lappy probably will not take ur games though!

so whats your recommendation for a new college student planning on keeping a lappy for 4 years or better getting the most of his money and doing light gaming.

The Q9000 is not a great laptop quad. The 260M GTX is equivalent to about a laptop 9800M GTX. It would not play crysis well at all. Maybe at low to mid settings 25fps.

It will last that long and yes it's worth it, the only thing u might want to look up on is if u can get longer warrenty.
