I currently have have my 360 hooked upto my monitor with a vga cable. Sadly my monitors current resolution is 640 x 480. When i get my new monitor, which will be 1920 x 1080p, will the HDMI cable have a noticeable difference? My vga cable supports 1080p.

if your vga truly supports 1080 resolution that it should support what u have. i dont know if 1920x1080 monitor is 16:9 (im too drunk to do math or even use calculator) but if it is then it is the common resolution for hd video and it should be fine.
