Well It's about time I got me a after market CPU cooler so I am trying to pick one out but I can't decide here is where I am getting it from http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=321&sort=20a&page=1 I really have never see most of these cooler and I'm not sure which is good for my Phenom 8650. I wont to keep the price around $30-$40 I may go more then that if it is worth it. I don't plan on OCing I just wont to get my temps lower right now my temps are any where to 38C all the way up to about 55C when playing games so I wont to lower those. I need it to be no taller then 5.2in/132mm but I don't won't it to interfere with my RAM slots but if it does then thats fine. The reason I am using performance PC is because they have the case fans I am looking for and I thought it would just be easier to order everything from the same sight. If any body has any other good sites that have 80mm x 15mm case fans with green LEDs then I would like to see it maybe I can find a better deal.

If I was going to pay $75 for a CPU cooler I would get a V8 besides like I said I'm looking for something for around $30-$40 but probably no more then $50.

A xiggy is the best you will get for less than $50, i would personally suggest saving/spending a few bucks more, getting a prolimatech megahalems and AM2 bracket. Also, check www.jab-tech.com for coolers, great website, prices, and super fast shipping.

Do you mean a Xigmatek and good site they don't have the fans I need but the price are super cheap.

What about any of these good or not

1. http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...e=product_info&cPath=46_321&products_id=25891

2. http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...e=product_info&cPath=46_321&products_id=25590

3. http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...e=product_info&cPath=46_321&products_id=25375

4. http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...e=product_info&cPath=46_321&products_id=21965

5. http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...e=product_info&cPath=46_321&products_id=22904

6. http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...e=product_info&cPath=46_321&products_id=24098

so are any of those good there really isn't that many for me to look at because most are to tall for my case I have maybe 5.5in to spare before I would have to take my side fan off and I really don't won't to do that. I'm only looking for something to drop my temps by about 5C-10C and I don't plan on overclocking so I don't need something huge and expensive,

I think I'm going to go with the Xigmatek HDT-S963 all the reviews look good for the Phenom and Phenom II CPU so I feel good about it plus I know it will fit my case. If a recall correctly you can use 2 92mm fans I'm a right about that or is that the higher end Xigmateks.

prolimatech megahalems is proven to be the best cooler so if its available go with that

I don't need the best cooler I just need something that will lower my temps I wont be overclocking at all so I just need something that will give me 5C lower temps that would make me happy any more then that and I will be thrilled. Like I said I'm not going to spend $60+ on a CPU cooler that wont be used for overclocking when I build my next system then I will go for the most awesomeness CPU cooler there is until then any thing that is quite and will lower my temps a little is what I wont. Oh yea and the prolimatech megahalems is way to tall.

If you just need a cheaper cooler, the small xigmatek is great, ive used them on some builds before and they work great, even with overclocking.

Like the Xigmatek HDT-S963 and doesn't that allow you to mount an extra 92mm fan on the other side.

Push pull wont help a whole lot on a smaller heatsink like that, but the extra heatpipe is the best reason to grab it. The only time i would do push/pull on them would be in a case with very poor airflow.

Well I still plan on getting another fan I guess they will both be intake then. I don't think my case has poor air flow well right now maybe but I'm ordering 5 80mm fans since that's how many fan placements my case has but the front has to have 80mm slim fans. I still haven't figured out how I'm going to set the fans up yet I will probably have to experiment with them until I find what is best right now I'm thinking front 2 intake side intake and rear 2 outtake.
