definitely

Will this CPU cooler fit in an Antec 300. I've seen a bunch of video reviews on YOutube - and many of them say - " make sure you have a full size case - thit thing is huge "

One guy said - it's 7 inches in height - which would not fit in my case - but the website says the CPU cooler is 120 x 128 x 161 mm - which is about 6 1/4 inches.

Thanks

Silence for me is very important, but cooling with silence = pricey. ;)

That V8 does look pretty , but I bet it´s a bitch to clean. I´d go with bomberboysk´s megahalem as well. The Zigmetek Achilles is another good one to check out. :)

+1, the V8 is actually not that good of a cooler. In some tests the megahalems is over 5c lower, and that margin increases the farther you overclock.

even though it has no fan on it

Does it keep it very cool with just the internal airflow? If so that is a damn good cooler. It looks simpler than the v8, so it just goes to show the simple things are always the best :p

You pretty much need to buy a fan for it, just like the TRUE. It actually doesnt do half bad passive though from what ive heard.

Whats funny is how NEW of a company prolimatech is, but a quality product it is. Soldered fins, lots of heatpipes, heatpipes soldered to the base. Great quality, plus now they have an AM2 adapter for it aswell.

right ok fair enough.

as to newness, silverstone only started in 2003 and they are pretty good now, that is 6 years to make a name and they are fairly well respected, prolimatech may be the next upcoming good brand
