Hey

I'm posting this in regards for my cousin who needs help. Recently their was a quick power outage due to a storm. After the power return in a second or so, the computer brings to a loading screen which said "Please insert a boot disk". He's running on Windows XP Home, so I downloaded a boot disk for him, but did not solve the problem, instead in prompts him to insert disk2. Could anyone shine a light on the problem?

Sounds like the boot table is gone(?) As for the boot disk, there are 4 disks required to boot WindowsXP. If/when you get the thing booted, can you see the contents of the harddrive? :)
