If your building it you would be better off going with a i5/7 or a AM3 Phenom II then a socket 775 setup.

Well then, don't let them build you a socket 775 system, as stated.

Have them build you a socket 1156 Core i5/i7 or Phenom II system.

How about this one? What is your advice for a good graphics card setup? Should I go dual cards or one GTX295? I have heard some very good things about them. Sorry, I don't know to much on the hardware end of PC's, but I'm trying to learn.

Doesnt look bad. You cant SLI two Nvidia cards on a AMD chipset board. Only Crossfire with ATI/AMD cards. Plus you would not want to on that board, the second PCIe slot only runs at 4X. You could get a ATI 5870, just released. But board wise, if you want to Crossfire two ATI cards you need a AMD DDR3 790X or 790FX chipset board.

I know you're probably making fun of me. I probably deserve it. I don't know a lot about this stuff.

Cost is about $1500-$1600.

I'm really not making fun of you but more along the lines of you falling into a cliche. It is very common for people to ask if their concept system will play crisis on max settings and it is kind of a joke. But, in all honesty, it's a legitimate question ;)

I would go with the AMD Phenom II X4 and a Cooler Master V8 heatsink. Everything else looks great!
