Yes. We all have Time Warner Cable High Speed Cable Internet. However, I called a Friend of Mine...mentioned earlier...who is the highest technician they have....and he checked everything he could. Nothing out of the ordinary. No security threats, no outages, no nothing. he checked for the past week. everything was perfect on his end. He even called his friends at Blue Cross Blue Shield KC and asked them if everthing was ok on their end. and it was.

We thought it MIGHT be a new virus in the making. However, it raises the questions of "would it cause only 6 computers (now 8) to have this problems at the exact same time....and then everything return to normal at the exact same time?"

What are the odds of a virus being capable of systematic Crashes???

Cuz this IS a systematic problem. Very Systematic....considering the computers went down at the same time, came back up at the same time, and suffered the exact same symptoms.

That can still be Malware related (but you won't know until 10,000 other users have the same issue

I cannot contact your ISP: http://www.timewarnercable.com/Corporate/about/management/default.html
And ask if there was any rollout or upgrade or temporary issue/fault
But I'm sure you have done this yourself already

There is nothing more to add without checking the logs myself
And you may also need a couple of computers to see any similarities

As you have high level techs working on it, I'd be interested in their inevitable findings

Oh believe me. arent we all wanting to see the results. I am really wanting to know what happened, how it happened, why it happened, and how it corrected itself.

Strangest thing.

Yes, My techs are working on it. they warned me that it may be some time before they figure anything out. But i will be sure to post whatever it is they find.

So we've figured out that there isn't any common programs/updates among the mist.
I figured it was a strain of new Malware too. Good luck to you and your techs!

The problem has been identified and fixed.

https://forums.comodo.com/feedbackc...ith_the_latest_virus_db_updates-t46150.0.html

It seems that Comodo Internet Security (among 3 other Anti-Virus programs) suffered a glitch in the Virus Database Update, causing abnormal and excessive CPU usage. Which, in turn, caused the entire system to slow severely down (as if it were a computer from the early 90's infected with 1,000 viruses and malware). Once Comodo fixed the problem, the new update was sent out, causing the 6 computers to fix themselves once the new update was downloaded.

Thanks for all your help guys!
