hey,
getting a desktop with:
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E7500 (2.93GHz, 1066FSB, 3MB)
Windows 7 professional 64-bit
4GB(2X2GB) DDR2 800 MHz SDRAM
ATI Radeon HD 4350 512MB

Now, i have just a standard desktop and i was playing battlefield vietnam online, and my computer crashed and i had to get it repaired(its only got basic specs with XP on it). Will i be able to play online with my new computer and play COD 4 online on it etc without it crashing??
Thanks

how much are you spending on that new box? The problem with your old box could be software related (viri, etc) but sounds like hardware. Is it overheating? Make sure all fans are spinning and that it is not a dust bowl. If you have multiple sticks of RAM then try each one individually and see if the problem goes away. If you can get your hands on a spare psu with enough wattage then swap them around.

ugh constant rebooting = check bios for auto shutoff because of fan failure much? ^^^ when your pooter boots up get into the bios and check out the fan control speed monitors, there is a threshold that tells the computer to shut off it the fans drops below a certain RPM. thats my first guess. now if its retarting by itself, reformatt your HDD, virus maybe. or RESET CMOS/remove RAM, for 15 minutes. either one does the same thing i believe. thats all i got : /

to clear quickly you can remove the battery, unplug the computer and hit the power button a couple of times.
