Internet explorer problem

Hi everyone, I have a problem with IE which I was hoping someone could help me out with.

If the computers been on for a while (say an hour or so) and I have a few tabs open it will just crash the page.

Also, if I have a few different IE windows open in the bottom bar (next to the start bar) then it will not let me open any more. It loads IE but its just a blank screen. If I close a couple of the existing ones then I can load a new one.

This is really annoying, does anyone have any suggestions?

Try resetting IE to default and clear all temporary files and cache.
The most often reason for IE crashes is the "Add On's", try disabling them .

How do I reset IE to default and also how do I disable add-ons?

A minute ago, I couldnt even load 1 browser up. I had to load messenger and click the link to my e-mails from that to open a browser. Its very strange.

to delete the temp files you need to:
in ie 7: under tools delete browsing history
or in ie8: under saftey then delete browsing history


or you can download ccleaner which will scan and delete all the temp files from your computer plus any clutter that could be causing a problem you can get it here, its free btw

I'm not going to say get any browser, you could also choose safari, chrome, opera ....

But wtf are you doing using IE?

If nothing works suggested by the members above, if have not already upgraded... upgrade to the latest Internet explorer, being IE8. You can download it from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/internet-explorer/worldwide-sites.aspx
