i'm going to be purchasing a new laptop soon. i want to know what is a good gaming laptop that is under 800 dllrs. i know there's alienware. but does anyone know of a good laptop that can be able to play the sims 2 with no problems for under 800 bucks. please help much appreciated.

That laptop that daisymtc recommend would run that easy... only issue being it has Windows 7, you should be able to run it in compatibility mode.
what do u mean by that. i really want to get that laptop but its a lil bit out of my budget, do u think any of these two will be able to play them

he means that sims2 could run on a very crappy laptop, probably even a netbook, lol.

Yes they would - i would recommend getting the Sony over the Toshiba.

yeah you can upgrade to 8GB but id imagine 4GB will be enough for quite a while
