I have a xfx Gtx 260 216 core that is playing out and needs replaced. I play WoW online and would like to stay under 400.00 if possible. Recommendations appreciated.

The GTX 275 Superclocked Edition possibly? Unless the ATI 5870 is supported, then I would recommend that.

Have never used anything but Nvidia . Have always been told to stay away from ATI because of driver issues, and I only play wow and COD 4 . I want to be able to play at max settings.

I know that you will play max on a GTX 275 for sure considering its overclocked too. The GTX 285 is good too but its just under $400 so I would think that you would want to save up some money.

are you looking to spend all of that money on a gpu or are you trying to save like the last post recommended?

i have never had a problem with my ATI cards...

personally, i would save up for the fermi (or the revised 5970)

you will see a difference, but dude, a GTX260 C216 is plenty for WoW and CoD4.

there really isnt a reason for you to upgrade.

i say keep it, save, and wait to see what nVidia will bring out.

If you only use nvidia i'd wait until they release their DX11 cards.

Are you saying wait cause you think the prices will drop on other cards? I hardly think he needs one of the fermi cards for wow and COD4.

To the OP, what power supply do you have? Also do you think you will buy any other games? If so then you might want to take linkin93's advice. What resolution are you gaming at? I have a 5870 and have no issues except I have been told that it is overkill for what I am doing.
