Building new PC for wife?

It has been several years since I messed with AMD which is what she wants so could someone recommend a motherboard to go with a AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor - Retail
thank you for your help. I have everything else except mobo and memory.
Also she has an Ultra 600 watt psu and an 8600gt card will the psu be enough for this system?

8600GT is old. Do your wife play game or do some video/ Photo editing? If not, just use onboard graphic. grab motherboard with 785G chipset

She's not a gamer and does some photo editing. I will be using Sata drives and will need 1 Ide port.

You'll be fine with the 8600 then.

Is the PATA slot for the cd drive? DVD burners are only ~$30...
