Pages slow to load

I have just bought a new laptop Asus X5DIJ , whenever it returns from sleep mode it takes webpages 30 seconds to load .I've tried it on I.E. & Firefox.
I have AVG free, Spybot S & D & Malwarebytes. It has been suggested it was Spybot tea-timer that was the problem so I uninstalled it but that didn't help. Tried temporarily disabling AVG again with no luck.
I've used the same protection and the same router for ages, it's just happened on the new laptop
I'm running Windows 7 .

Is your entire computer slow coming back from sleep mode? Or just the web?

Hi,
If just one site is slow, then there is nothing you can do about it because the site itself is the cause.
