Portal on steam is FREE Until may 24th!

The Steam account service says I have it ready to go on my games tab, but I proceed to my games tab on Steam and it's not there, strange. Maybe it'll come up later today.

lol you go though a load of lvl's with a portal gun and get told there is cake at the end but insted you get attacked by a big machine... thats right the cake is a lie.. unless your like me got pissed went to the kitchen got a piece and said "HA i got my cake"

Dont understand your reply,i just asked a question if it's to much of a problem to answer fair enough.:)

It's a game.
Pretty much like a FPS puzzle game with a story. You get a gun that shoots red and blue portals. You go through blue and come out red and vise versa.
It is pretty fun.

Yeah it's a short game, i've played it my brothers computer and it's worth replaying over and over again. Portal 2 is being released in october, which is when my birthday is ;)

I think i've figured this out. They've added to the ending cutscene so that it ties into portal 2.

Did they really?
I might play through portal again if thats the case haha...it was a great game. Wouldn't mind doing it again anyways.

I've seen/played the ending of portal.. whoevers played it recently let me know if anything is different from here:

Warning. Spoilers Alert. Highlight to read

So you beat glados and then you get the cool little song thing and then there's the cutscene of you getting dragged away... i think i mixed up the order lol but is there anything new after that?

I just beat it... robot dies, you get to the surface and then dragged back down by a machine, and then you are served cake... so cake is not a lie! :)

I'm currently downloading it. I was like :eek: when I saw it was free. I just hope my computer can handle it.
Edit: It plays fine. It only crashed ounce, (I have no idea why) but I finished it. What fun! And I still want cake. :(

I can't wait for Portal 2 in December!

Iv played the original for about 3 weeks or so and realy like it.
I do wish there was more levels tho :(

Great game tho!
